Almost every paddle on the market lands in the same narrow acoustic band by accident. The figures below are the published industry references we build against. Our own paddles get their numbers from an acoustic cell, and that test has not run yet, so you will not find a BainPower figure dressed up as a spec anywhere on this page.

Courts get curfews because paddles were never tuned, and the window forty metres away pays for it. A brand that can make BAM ring on purpose can make TAP disappear on purpose. Quiet is what the same engineering looks like pointed the other direction.
Where TAP is up to
BAM's face is Kinetic T700 Composite, T700 carbon with fibreglass. T700 is a real Toray grade with a published datasheet, roughly 39% stronger in tension than the T300 used further down the market. We name it so you can check it. Face stiffness is the single biggest lever on pitch.
BAM runs a 16mm EPP foam core with expanded polypropylene cutouts, inside an integrated edge guard. Core density and the bond to the face decide how long the note lives after contact. A foam core damps differently to the honeycomb most of this category ships.
Handle and wrap decide how much of the strike travels back into your arm instead of out into the air. It is the least glamorous part of a paddle and the one players actually feel on the two-hundredth ball.
A voice only counts once an anechoic cell has heard it. Ours is booked into the plan, not the past, so every acoustic figure on this site is a published industry reference until then.
